Big brother Nigeria have been known to build up a lot of stars and also made way for their contestants to bag business deals, sponsorships and even helping them get political appointments in their various states.
Here are some examples of BB Naija stars who has been given political positions to hold from their state government.
Laycon

Laycon who won the last edition of the big brother Nigeria is one of the most popular celebrity that emerged from the reality TV show. He was appointed as a youth ambassador by the Ogun state governor IDAPO ABIODUN. The governor also gave him a 3 bedroom bungalow and 5 million Naira.
Rebecca Thompson

(aka Nengi) was one of the housemates from the 5th season of the show. She won the heart of her fans during her time in the house and ended up as the second runner up of the season. She was recently appointed as a senior special assistant to the bayelsa state governor Douye Diri on the girl child development.
Gedoni

He came to the show as a fashion designer, he was born in Cross river state and can be best described as one of the calmest housemates to have participated in the big brother show. Although Gedoni wasn’t the winner of the 4th season of big brother but after leaving the house he got appointed by the cross river state governor, Ben Ayade as the special assistant on garment factory and branding.
Trickytee

Trickytee was one of the housemates in the 5th season of the show, also regarded as the man with ‘nine lives’ because he kept escaping eviction so many times. After he finally got evicted, the reality TV star was appointed as the senior special assistant to the bayelsa state governor Douye Diri alongside his ex housemate Nengi.
Cindy Okafor

Cindy was from the 4th season of BB Naija, although she wasn’t as popular as other housemates but after her eviction, she was showered with gift by her fans and also recognized by the governor of Abia state Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu as an ambassador of the “made in Aba” project
