Buba is a 50 year old commercial motorist of Gombe state who trekked from Gombe to Abuja to celebrate the 2015 election victory of President Muhammadu Buhari.
After the trek he complained severally of having sore limbs and going broke. He had also called on the government and other Nigerians to come to his aid as he could no longer pay his medical bills and children’s school fees.
On Monday 16th November he was finally rewarded with a car and a cash sum of 2 million naira.
He was also taken to the hospital for proper medical attention.
It was announced that Buba is now in a better condition after undergoing his first round of treatment.
He thanked the governor of gombe state and the state as a whole for coming to his rescue.
